Carter Surfing Industry is proud to announce the return of the original Tag Team Surfing. Ransom Surf Wax has secured naming rights for the three events in June 2008.

Tour Dates: Gold Coast. Tugun Beach Sunday 15th June
Tweed Coast. Kingscliff Beach Sunday 22nd June
Ballina/Byron Coast. Flat Rock Beach Sunday 29th June
There will be 6 Teams per event. All events have been approved by the respective councils
Gold Coast Title will feature the Gold Coast’s leading boardriding clubs fielding their best 16 & under surfers, clubs include Snapper Rocks, Kirra, Alley, Palm Beach and defending Gold Coast Tag Team Surfing champions MNM.
Tweed Coast Title for the first time will feature a boardriding club up against a High School Team; Tweed High will be doing their best to upstage local favorites boardriding clubs Kingscliff and Cabarita.
Tweed Coast event will see North Narrabeen travelling from Sydney to battle it out against the local teams and feature the next big star in women’s surfing. Surfing experts have touted Laura Evener as a future women’s world surfing champion.
Ballina/Byron Title will see the All Girls Surfriders take on the might of Le – Ba and Byron Bay clubs, as will Xavier College be putting their best manoeuvres on to stake a claim for the local title.
Teams will be battling it out for Trophies, medals and the honour of victory and bragging rights of their local coastline. A best & fairest award sponsored by Fox Surf and the club with the best double whammy will win 3 certificates from World Champion & Master Coach Cheyne Horan for a surf coaching session. Competitors of each event will go into a draw and have the chance to win Darcy Surfboards, Ocean & Earth travel covers, legropes, backpacks, Tracks Magazine 12 month subscription, Ransom Surf Wax t-shirts, sets of Raptor Fins, Northern Hair Care products, ANZ cash accounts, Deep Sea Fishing trips, Big Trevs Sailing lessons, Fox Surf Wet-shirts and more.
With Academy of Surfing Instructors underwriting Tag Team Surfing a future is guaranteed, surfers and clubs will have added venues to promote their respective sponsors and surfing skills
